Kevin Wells

Pastor Kevin and Melody moved to New Oxford in October of 2015 to be the Lead Pastors of Family Life Church. Kevin took over the church from his father in law, John S. Goff who had pastored the church for over 20 years.

Kevin and Melody have a total of 3 children, 2 girls (Sarah and Cindy) and 1 boy (Kevin Jr.). They have 4 grandchildren (Lillian Grace, Spencer Joseph, Victoria Hope, Xander Dennis) As well, one incredibly spoiled Schnauser named Abby.

Kevin has been in full-time ministry for over 31 years. He has served in many churches and positions as well. Most recently as a Lead Pastor. He has a passion for the local church and in raising up next-generation leaders. He also works with “life and leadership coaching” and helping others to develop to their full potential. Melody, having grown up in a Pastor’s home, has served in the church all of her life. She now works alongside Kevin with many areas of church life.

Together they are passionate about raising up the church to a new level and taking the church in the direction that Jesus Christ wants it to be. It is their heart to reach across racial, age, and denominational lines to build the Kingdom of God.

Kevin is a graduate of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and has a Master of Arts in Church Ministry with an emphasis in Discipleship and Leadership. He is now pursuing his Doctorate in Church Leadership at Liberty University. Melody has her bachelors in Counseling from Lee University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Counseling from Liberty University as well.
